Corporate Portraits

We do corporate portraits for company websites, public relations and publicity, corporate brochures, and advertising.  At Executive Portraits Chicago you can do your portraits in our studio or on location in your offices.

Sometimes companies are under intense time-pressure to get the finished results. e.g. there might be a very tight deadline for a media publicity opportunity. When needed, we can turn your work around the same day in most cases. The unretouched images from the shoot are presented to you on a disc right after the shoot.

The most important thing, however, is the quality and look of the portraits. You'll want your people to look successful, as self-confident leaders in their fields. You'll want your images to look polished and upscale. Our approach is to get the details right, before, during and after the shoot.

Making people look good means nice lighting, good attitudes and expressions, good grooming, properly fitting clothing, etc. Making the images look good means nice composition, upscale corporate backgrounds, etc. Photos with '80's looking mottled backgrounds, dingy color, poor focus, etc. reflect poorly on the company using them. Taste is usually hard to describe, but it's usually evident when it's there – and when it's lacking.

Many of the corporate portraits you'll see on the web are done by photographers that are not commercial photographers.

Some of these people are good photographers, but since they spend most of their time doing weddings, personal portraits, high school portraits, etc., they find it difficult to achieve the upscale corporate look you expect to find in brochures and websites of successful corporations.

Both of these goals for corporate portraits – successful looking executives and upscale looking images – are accomplished not only by what we do during the actual photo session, but also to an even larger extent by what we do in post-production, i.e. retouching and preparing final images.

Our retouching is tailored to the needs and wishes of our clients. Some want more; some want less. Once a client chooses the images they want to use, we do our work, send them proofs and then make any changes they request before preparing final files. This makes everything look good and also reduces the nervousness some subjects feel during the shoot. When they know we're going to fix any flaws that will compromise the quality of results, people feel more relaxed and comfortable during the shoot, which makes their expressions look more self-confident and successful.

Our fees are very reasonable and highly competitive. There are no charges for reprints as most portrait photographers do or usage as most commercial photographers do.
